Jeepin' for Healin' 4 Trail Ride 2007

What is "Jeepin' for Healin'" ?  "Jeepin' for Healin'" is a trail ride that benefits our local Windham Hospital's new emergency wing extention.

There were 3 trails to choose from: Paine Hill in Union,CT (located in Nipmuck State Forest),  Patchaug State Forest, and a place known as "The Vanes" - (a private property) in Lisbon,CT.   

This year's Jeep Trail Ride took place in Lisbon,CT on a private property nicknamed "The Vanes". The trail also highlighted a special section reserved for the most extreme of our group. These guys gave new meaning to the term "playing in the rock pile" with their rock crawling machines. Some were modified and street legal. Others were modified so extreme that they had to be trailered in.

The weather was perfect, mostly sunny with a few clouds, temp's around 65º.  It was a great turnout because there were a lot of first timers this year. People got a chance to meet new people, make friends, talk with the owners about their Jeeps, club activities, where they've been to lately. It was a great way to support a good cause that will benefit us all in the near future.
